Nights without darkness

One of the most unusual aspects of daily life in Norway - at least as the spring and summer are concerned - it does not really get dark.  So this is the sun around 8 pm.  Then it got a bit darker but never gets dark. It will only get lighter between now and June 21st!  It is very unusual to see the sun around 2 or 3 am.  It does make you realize you are in Scandinavia after all.   This photo is taken near the water.  The building on the left is the Nobel Peace Prize Center.
